A taste from the rich side

This weekend was fairly chilled, which I didn't mind at all.

Friday was the first night that I saw a lot of the GET from my orientation at the Arts Center. Normally, Bupyung is the place to party but it was nice to have them at my side of the city and not get too worried to stay out late because I might just miss the subway or something like that. So, what did I do? I drank and drank and drank. Not to the full extent of blacking out and/or passing out in the streets like most Koreans do here, but I was feeling pretty good. Plus, the boys were with me so I had no worries. They love me :) So, my mission completed when I was feelin' good AND didn't get a hangover nor threw up. Thumps up!

...And I even got a bunny ear.

Apparently, as I was in happy place, some things happened that I missed out. One, Justin & Si-Khoa getting stuck in the elevator for couple of hours. Two, Jon had a "face-to-face" encounter of a screaming drunkin' Korean. And three, I knocked my own drink (which btw, I didn't really want to drink after I bought it since I was at a good level of intoxication already) from Tony's hand, making his shoes smell like long island iced tea. LOL.

The only down side (from my own memory) is that Debs & I (since she lives so damn far, I had her stay over at my place) woke up late the next day. We were supposed to meet some of the boys at Bupyung at 10:30A.M but we woke up at 11AM. We had them waiting for a bit, which thankfully was fine. Shortly we arrived, we were on our way to Shinsa-dong, which was one part of Seoul that has the rich neighborhoods. After many subways transfer we took, I already forgot how we got there. We just got there. Our first destination was The Flying Pan. A little expensive but worth it! It was delish!

After brunch was done, off to shopping or window shopping we go at Myeongdong. Somewhat the same as Bupyung but more selection and rather a little pricey. I did manage to buy a few things in Forever 21 though. And yes, they have Forever 21. It was the biggest I've seen. 4 floors! It was cool. I controlled myself in shopping though. I bought a dress, which I hope it can still be sunny enough for me to wear or else that'll just stay in the closet until the summer. LOL. Anyways, after we did that, we headed to Apgujeong to find this Italian place that Tony pre-researched. Took as a little while to get a taxi to get as there since we only had till 10pm to order. And at last, we arrived and it was the most delicious pizza ever!

Sunday was suppose to be a pear picking day but I was being a pansy and got too lazy. So, I end up just staying home, did some groceries and I was a happy camper. Sort of. Just got some news from home that made me feel other ways. At this point, what else can I do? I just gotta have faith. That is all.
